For my introduction to my research project, I didn't really start on this project earlier and I procrastinated and waited to the last week to get everything done. In class I learn about positive psychology (meaning the scientific study of what makes life most worth living). I also learned that Rhetoric is the study and practice of communication that persuades, informs, inspires, or entertains target audiences in order to change or reinforce beliefs, values, habits or actions. This shows me that life is more than just money, wealth, or power; life is about happiness and love ones and having hope that you can do something you put your mind too. Also I learned about "three good things" by Dr. Seligman and he said "by giving you the space to focus on the positive, this practice teaches you to notice, remember, and savor the better things in life. It may prompt you to pay closer attention to positive events down the road and engage in them more fully—both in the moment and later on, when you can reminisce and share these experiences with others." I started writing 3 things I did per day. Blog posts (#10, #11, #12, #13, and #14) help me get through most of my research project.
